Giving Back to Communities
Over the years, The Chip Neumann Team has been fortunate to be able to contribute time and monetary resources to various charities and non-profit organizations, as well as to individuals in need of assistance. By supporting these causes, we want to do our part to strengthen Ridgefield and other communities around the country.
The Chip Neumann Team, in part with other top REALTORS® across the country, is proud to sponsor the construction of two Habitat for Humanity homes in North Chicago, Ill. and Bronx, N.Y. Ciro and Rosa Garcia, along with their three children (Jocelyn, Berenice, and Lionel) are the recipients of the North Chicago home through Habitat for Humanity Lake County Chapter. Sam and Esther Ansah, with their quadruplets born Jan. 16, 2006, will move into the Bronx home through Habitat for Humanity NYC. In addition to sponsoring these builds, donations have been made by our team to the local Habitat for Humanity Chapter.
Contributions have also been made to such local organizations as Ann’s Place, Ridgefield Community Foundation, and the Ridgefield Playhouse.
Ann’s Place, The Home of I CAN is located in Danbury and provides supportive services to families coping with cancer diagnosis. Ann’s Place serves families from Fairfield and Litchfield counties in Connecticut and Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York. The Chip Neumann Team has sponsored walk-a-thons and other events in support of this organization.
Our Team has also contributed to the Ridgefield Community Foundation. The Foundation works to strengthen Ridgefield by collecting and distributing funds to organizations and individuals whose purpose is to benefit the Ridgefield community. The Foundation’s mission is to identify community needs, provide grants to ensure successful community projects, and build an endowment to carry out the donors’ objectives.
The Chip Neumann Team is also a Gold Sponsor of the Ridgefield Playhouse. More than 600 organizations, families, and individuals donated time, talents and money to the theater’s restoration, which was completed in 2000. The Playhouse hosts a variety of events including live musical and theatrical performances, classic films, new movie releases, lectures, workshops and family activities.
